A home whose layout was shaped by the owners' way of life rather than a catalogue
A house based on the owners' own design, with the dining table intended as the centrepiece of the living area, facing a secluded terrace. The separate kitchen connects to a large utility room that also serves as a pantry. The living room with its dining area is spacious and bright.
The house has three rooms in addition to the living area. One serves as a guest room or study and is immediately beside the entrance, so visitors do not need to pass through the private part of the house. Two bedrooms are separated from the living room by a hallway that can be closed off, with direct access to the bathroom and separate toilet.
After more than a year of living there, the owners appreciate the pleasant indoor climate, the ceramic panels' ability to store heat and comfort even on hot summer days. A major advantage was being able to design the house themselves, including openings and electrical provisions prepared in the factory. Fast construction and quality assembly add to their satisfaction and lead them to recommend the technology to other prospective homeowners.
We have lived for more than a year in our new house, assembled from ceramic-composite panels by CERAMIC HOUSES sro, Lučenec. One advantage was that we could design the house ourselves. Based on that design, the panels were made with window and door openings and provisions for internal electrical wiring, including openings for sockets and switches. The house is environmentally friendly, the panels store heat from the infrared heating panels and, in summer, it maintains a pleasant indoor climate despite high outdoor temperatures. Another advantage is the fast construction and high-quality assembly of the house shell by the company’s employees. For these reasons, we recommend this type of house to other prospective homeowners.
